Avatar: The Last Airbender - Avatar Yoisen

My OC Avatar.

Yoisen, otherwise known as the "Fire Avatar" or the "Avatar of the Fire Nation," is one of the four Avatars during the Great Fire Nation War alongside his younger brothers Aang, Tien and Nai. One century ago, Yoisen is a member of the Sun Warrior Civilization and had become a master firebender at a young age. This lead the masters to believe that he is the Avatar of their nation and told him and his parents of his destiny to meet the other three Avatars and bring about peace. His father was very skeptical about his son's fate and his mother couldn't bear the thought of parting with him, but Yoisen ultimately decided to follow through with his role as the Fire Avatar, reassuring his parents that he will be just fine. Before his departure, he meets with his childhood friend Yin and told her that he will be back for her.

Yoisen departs to the Southern Air Temple where he meets Aang, Tien and Nai. The four boys shared a long conversation which lead to them developing a powerful brotherly bond. At dawn, Yoisen tries to return to his home, but he and his Dragon stead, Agnia, were caught in rough storm causing them fall into the ocean as well as causing Yoisen to activate his Avatar state for the first time, thus freezing the two in time. After a whole century had gone by, the two were thawed and woke up near an island in the Earth Kingdom. Before he can assess the situation, Yoisen knew something was not right and sent his Dragon to fly back to the Sun Warriors discretely while he looks around. He wanders the around until he meets the blind earthbending master, Toph Beifong and convinced her train him. He was able master earthbending, but had to go find his brothers. Yoisen was then cornered by the Earth Soldiers and tried to take him in for being a firebender, but was able to defeat them easily. He resorted in traveling to Omashu and find King Bumi where he decided to get rid of the Fire Nation who raided the city.

Yoisen is described as aloof, expressionless, cynical and serious. He lived a life of most work and little play and found tradition to be rather boring. He hardly understands the idea of joking and playful activities, which is why he often gives out a "dull aura." He hardly ever smiles, but makes exceptions for when he is around familiar faces like his brothers. Yoisen sometimes would say or do something good and/or humorous to others and wouldn't know it. Due to his role as the Fire Avatar, he takes his responsibility and his training very seriously and can be very strict with those who fool around. As the "big brother," Yoisen acts as the guardian of Aang, Tien and Nai as well as giving them proper guidance.
